John started working with VCMB in July of 2026, he got his undergraduate degree at University of South Carolina and completed his Veterinary Assistant and Phlebotomy license at HGTC.
John has a passion for being able to help the animals that can’t help themselves which is what drew him back to veterinary medicine after spending time as a human phlebotomist. He has a large interest in emergency medicine! What he loves about VCMB is that everyone works as a team, he loves being part of a positive work environment as well as being able to contribute to impacting the lives of our canine and feline patients.
He has two saltwater fish tanks and one freshwater tank as well as a precious cat named Meadow. When John is not in the hospital you will find him spending time with his family, especially his two nephews, practicing his scuba diving and working on his music production. Be sure to say hi and welcome John the next time you are in the hospital!
